Going on vacation. Questions about options for safe travels

It's been a while since we've been on a proper vacation. We've got a family trip to the Smoky Mountains next week to spend time amongst the autumn leaves, and I'm looking for a spell, or possibly infuse a "lucky charm" to travel with. It'll be a road trip, and we'll be camping and hiking... I'd like to do something to safeguard the trip. Any suggestions?

Maple wood is a traveler's wood. You could collect some twigs and make the God's Eye in bright red and sky blue yarn, or just make an equal arm cross tied with red thread. Empower for safe travel and protection. Put a small one on each person's back pack, or in the car. They dont have to be elegant, and add blue beads, strung on the thread as you wrap, if you like.

If any family member normally wears a favorite piece of jewelry, even a wrist watch, empower it with your hands and heartfelt intent as a protector. If your practice is secret, do this when they remove the piece while they take a shower. Don't forget to do one for yourself.

I have a few necklaces and charms hanging from my rear view mirror in my car that act as a good luck and safe travels charm. I pray over them and cleanse them with my favorite incense every few months.

Thanks for the input, it sparked some ideas. I have a red maple in my yard that's really special to me because I started it from a twig. My husband just trimmed some branches that were hanging too low, and I laid them along the back fence to burn in our firepit. I'm happy to put some of it to good use. I'll also string together a little necklace to hang in the car. With Halloween right around the corner I should be able to find a witch charm to add to it just for fun. I'm excited to start some of these projects now. LOL. I may even lay hands on my kids shoes just to keep them safe while on the trails.

I'd like to suggest a Wu Lou good health charm. It's from Feng Shui and it promotes health, prosperity ect. Do a goodle search you will find a lot of info on them. I have one hanging on my handbag and it's meant to promote positive Chi and protect you from bad luck. You could always charge it with your intent before use.

Those charms are beautiful. I hadn't heard of them before now. I like the idea behind it, and after looking at Google images I really like the way they look.
