BOS language question

I have finally started to write my Bos. Again. And now onto a usb stick. Bc I just don't have much of an option.
Before starting I had a big question: What language to use for my Book of Shadows?

At first I thought I'd use English, since most information out there is in English. But I've decided on using my first language instead. Feel as if translating texts and coming up with words to describe things that already have a name in English have 'more' power beacause of all the time and energy I'd put in all that work.

So. Just wondering what language do/did/will you prefer for your own BOS? Native, English, Made-up, Old/Traditional?

I use more than one language: Dutch (my own language) for most information, but I prefer spellwork to be in their original language. I usually do translate though so I know exactly what it says. I think those are personal preferences though, not rules set in stone.

I use my native language. I want to be able to read it at a glance. The most powerful language is the one that you think in comfortably.

Thanks for the answers. I'll probably use my native language. Though my English is very good because I grew up with both.

I grew up bilingual - and every Notebook, Recipe, Calender and BOS is also bilingual. I use what comes natural.

But i totally agree with your idea! Translating into your first lanuage is definitely giving extra power and energy. You are on the right track
