Should I throw out this horse shoe?

Hi there,

I got a horse shoe from an acquaintance I normally don't get along with very well. There are constant tensions between us, you can really feel it. We behave friendly with each other, of course, no need to argue or fight, but there clearly is something between us. There are times when we both are more relaxed and even funny around each other, so there is no total rejections, but this tangible tension. I asked her for an old horse shoe because she has horses and she immediately gave me one. I have smudged the shoe and put it, open end upside, near our front door. A few hours later I found it lying on the floor (I guess the cats have played with the string I had attached to the horse shoe to fix it to the stair railing, so it won't fall down. Should have taken a stronger string, I guess

So far I cannot see it has brought us much luck so far . Is it possible there are too many bad vibes in this shoe, from her (surely not on purpose, but inaccidentally)? Can I "clean" it and charge it correctly?

I'd honestly try cleansing it and blessing it then see how you go.

You could say it really belonged to the horse & she served as the postal carrier. it could become a tool for blessing the good of the acquaintance and reducing the B-I-zitchy...using Ethereal's suggestion for cleansing.

Is it iron or some new material? Iron is an unusual metal, being magnetic it both attracts and repells. Burying it in the earth for 24hrs may help neutralize any prior energy.

It is an iron horse shoe, it was quite rusty but I cleaned it. I wouldn't mind getting along better with her all the time but that wasn't my goal, it was good luck for my family, protection etc. How can I "program" the shoe towards this direction?

You could ever so lightly coat it with oil to hold a psychic charge, (olive oil has very life-oriented properties,) than raise your power, center your will, hold your hands around it, and firmly state I name you Protection and Good Fortune repeating P and GF thereafter, over and over and more firmly and faster so you feel excited about it, pushing the idea into the shoe and until you feel it's magnetized with your will and you're spent. Then ground to re-balance yourself.
