Re: Today I am Grateful For...
I love doing this and used to do it quite a lot each day before I forgot about it. It really does make you feel better. ☺
Today I'm grateful for Family.
A year and a half ago I lost my father. What I would give to have him here now.
When he was here, we fought over the silly things, stopped speaking to each other. But when it came down to it, at the end, I loved him so much and would have done anything to take it all away. We both know how sorry we are and how much we loved each other, bar the arguing.
When you lose a member of your family, it puts things into perspective. It makes you realise how much you should hold onto them, forgive each other, and tell them how much you love them.

Today I'm grateful for how good my home life is. One of my friends had to leave rehearsals early today because she broke down crying due to a text from her biological father - I refuse to call him just her father; he is not her father in anything but genes. She wants nothing more than to be able to cut off all contact and forget he ever existed; she as much as said so today, but it's not possible, despite the fact that even legally he's not her father - he never signed the birth certificate. Legally, he has no rights over her, and so I'm not entirely sure why he's still allowed contact with her.

Today I am grateful for my Mother, who always is there to support me despite me being an autistic mess. Love her to pieces.

Today I am grateful for my brother who's always so helpful and takes care of me, even though we are not children anymore.

Today I'm grateful for my mother, for being who she is, for helping me in all that she can, and for suggesting a more creative lunch for me today x3

Today I am thankful for dogs. They always bring me so much joy, even when they aren't mine.

Today I am grateful for patience. Mostly that of others. (Frankly, I don't have enough of it.)

I'm grateful for my best friend Ana. I went to the lab, today, to have blood drawn, and she walked in, literally, two minutes after me. She had been at the one across the street, but she got tired of waiting. I don't think the timing was coincidence. Our deities work in mysterious ways.

Synchronicity
I love it... to me it's the Goddess letting me know the path I'm on is the correct one.
Did she has a message for you?

Ana said that she has discovered that marriage is hard work. I think I need to put more effort into mine.

Today I'm grateful for all the wonderful authors who create books for us to laugh over, to cry over, to be eaten by and absorbed into, to fangirl about, and most of all to love. (Shameless advocation of the Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer)
