The bottom portion actually reminds me of Kanji. I'm almost positive that is Kanji for something in japanese.

I don't get a friendly message from it. First thing I felt when I laid eyes upon it was a great deal of force.
Edit: Before I read anything I am observing it, there's a certain grace to it, the feeling, graceful force, as if acted in a way that... Great skill? In a warfare sort of way.
