Spell to dream your future wife or husband

This is a spell from a book or website that I can no longer find, so I can't really cite where it came from.

It involves putting your shoes on the window sill at night, one shoe pointed down and one shoe pointed up. Then go to sleep. It is said that your future partner will appeared in your dream.

I'm not sure about the validity of this spell, and I wouldn't even call it a spell, just a fun superstitions I believe. But I'm going to try it tonight, and see what would happen.

there are several random belifes like this actually. everything from flowers you put under your pillow on a certain night to bird calls and your shoe one.

they are rooted in old folk tails from various regions and in some cases you can find say the flowers properties were prophetic dreams or the day they say to do it was the day of love and dreams or something.

I am one of those silly people who just like doing it to see what happens >< so i find it funny that you are like that too *giggles*

Something I try and do, too, in hopes of seeing glimpses of that or my future children is simply asking my spirit guides and the deities I work with if I could have a dream about them that night. It has yet to happen but they've yet to tell me to stop asking. Haha!

Haha, Babybear, yeah, I am one of those people that like to try those silly folk tales. It's fun because they are so easy and they are just like games!

And Sakura Blossom, I have heard of asking your spirit guides for future knowledge, but still having trouble seeing them...

Yeah, I have heard a story where a woman uses dumb cake to see her how her future husband is doing in war, but instead, she saw a coffin, and later she got the news that her future husband actually died during the war. I think there are many variations of these kind of rumours in many cultures, where the future you see actually become true, but we never know if they are the true future or if our mind have created the future.

Sorry I haven't really replied lately. I didn't feel well enough to actually do the experiment, then I forgot about it until today... A lot of times when I try to perform a ritual or spell, I would get sick or wouldn't feel to good mentally, so I often delay them. I'll definitely try them tonight and see how it goes!

You don't need to see your spirit guides to ask them for help, Binglian. I don't see them either. They are there to help you and will listen to requests you make for guidance. That doesn't mean they will help you, of course, but I'd like to think they listen anyways.
