Re: Addiction spell
There are a couple spells like these in the Self Improvement section of the EUTM site. The spells require a few more components other than candles, but it's just a couple things like easy to find herbs or oils. The Stop Smoking Spell, which also works for other bad habits, requires just a bottle of ginger ale and some food coloring.

Re: Addiction spell
Quite a few years ago I heard/read/? words we use should
be precise (like spells), so I have concluded to never again
say I've lost weight ! Our subconscious will go "lost" ? The
brain then goes to find what was "lost" plus some !
I decided to use the same principle with smoking, our
ego loves to win, so if we say "I've quit smoking" I believe
it works against us. I have decided to say I've stopped
smoking, instead.
Anyone else use different words to keep things even ?

Re: Addiction spell
I know this is an old thread, but as far as the nicotine habit I came across a great item that helped me a ton! (And I was a 1 1/2- 2 pk a day smoker that smoked for well over 10 yrs.... )
* Oranges! As in the regular fruit.
When you want a cig/nicotine fix you pick up the orange and smell it..Keeping it in your hand.
If the urge persists and for me it did, you break the skin of the orange peeling it slowly and smelling the smell of it in deep breaths as you inhale.
If it persists still, peel the orange into sections and eat them slowly, one at a time. The vit.c and other nutrients in the orange will curb your craving and holding/smelling /peeling/eating the orange occupies your hands. Also, I found holding a pen/pencil in my hand like I would a cig together with the orange thing I just described helped immensely. A doctor had told me about the orange trick and said that the vit c and nutrients of the orange literally DID curb the craving of nicotine withdrawal. Partnered with the hand being occupied in a way that would normally be connected to smoking, I was successful in my attempt to stop smoking.
Thought maybe anyone wanting to stop smoking would appreciate the tip. Id imagine you could use it in partnership with any other methods such as gum, ecigs, etc.. I found it immensely helpful and I could literally feel the craving being satisfied (for lack of a better term) . And I personally think it was the healthiest, best tasting tool i found.

Re: Addiction spell
I stopped using it altogether when I read a recent article about formaldehyde being used in the liquid. With my recent medical issues it made the choice much easierallergic to my vapor cig

Re: Addiction spell
I kept telling people don't blindly use something mass-marketed like that without researching exactly what is in it first. People are literally embalming themselves with that stuff! I call this kind of thing, "eating the steak and drinking the wine of the Matrix."formaldehyde being used in the liquid.

Re: Addiction spell
Well, it is all poison, whether cigarettes or e-cigarettes. I doubt anyone views these products as ... healthy. So if they all will kill you eventually, does it much matter which poison people consume, really?

Re: Addiction spell
Oh, you'd be surprised. From the people I've spoken to the perception seems to be that vapes are a "healthy alternative to cigarettes." Mass marketing seems to have given the masses this impression (aka subliminal programming). So, being the trusting folk that most humans are, they don't stop to do any research and ask, "hmm, just what am I really putting into my body when I inhale one of these things?" Instead, it is: "This is just water vapor, what's the big deal? It's not smoke, so it's OK." I guess "smoke" is the new, perceived identifiable bad guy. How convenient for vape manufacturers, lol.I doubt anyone views these products as ... healthy.
But, yeah Myrth --smoke, vapor-- two different sides of the same, dangerous, toxic coin. And these vapes are especially targeted to teenagers, with their assortment of tasty flavors, kinda like the flavored drinks very popular now that "just happen to have a little alcohol in them." I think the point is to get children smokin' and drinkin' as young as possible, using fruit-flavored proxies for both, until the children are old enough to get addicted to harder stuff. Then when they're adults, they'll be dependent on Big Pharma to help them correct all the damage they've done to their bodies.
Bad health is encouraged in an underhanded way, a quiet but lucrative cottage industry. Like comedian Bill Maher joked in this video, "...they subsidize illness in America. They have to, there's too much money in it. You see, there's no money in healthy people, and there's no money in dead people. The money is in the middle: people who are alive, sort of, but with chronic conditions that put them in need of [an endless supply of pharmaceuticals]."
I'm with Divina on that orange idea, sounds tasty!

Re: Addiction spell
Agreed. It should be illegal to sell or market e-cigarettes or low alcohol drinks to children. Selling these things to children IS illegal in my state, but not everywhere. It is wrong to sell poison to children. Once people are grown, though, you really cannot stop them from poisoning themselves. Many seem determined to follow a path of self-destruction. One of my clients died this week of an apparent accidental overdose. We tried to save the client, but help was stridently rejected. People get addicted to the feeling of brain cells dying - they just don't perceive it that way.Oh, you'd be surprised. Re: Addiction spell

Yes, beginning habitual use is one thing, but man, once an addiction settles into the physiology of the user, it turns into a whole different creature. It fights to maintain itself, even at the user's death, doesn't care. I've lost so many people around me, so many.
Soma, is the spellwork you want to do for yourself, or for someone else? (this would matter regarding the structure of the spell itself). Also, what is the addictive action or substance? There are different spells tailored for different addictions. After I hear back from you I will post spells I hope will be helpful to your situation.
Thanks.

Re: Addiction spell
Colorado bans smoking in public buildings, but vapor cigarettes don't fall under that law. When we went down to Manitou Springs for the coffin races, we had lunch at a local restaurant. The folks at the next table were all vaping away. It was horrible.
