depression

Postby Ravenstar » Mon Nov 17, 2014 3:57 am

I suffer from depression. My emotions are wacky and low self esteem. I learned that the water element is too much in me. Is there anyway I can balance it out with fire? Also, it seems that I can't get angry when I do I start crying. I feel guilty for standing up for myself. Can spells help me? I see a therapist and am working on myself. I guess I keep thinking if I align my chakras, meditate etc. I will be a perfect person but I know nobody is perfect.

Nobody is perfect, and the way to really find those internal solutions is with a therapist-- so I am happy to read that you are pursuing that option.

That being said, I wouldn't try to balance out water with fire (earth may be a better option imo); but it may help you to practice grounding techniques and to create a charm to keep with you that helps to keep you grounded.

I agree with Vesca. Also meditation will help. Another thing to try would be to allow yourself to find the reason why you allow yourself to feel this way, for some its chemical for others its is about changing your lifestyle and choosing to be happy. Sounds odd I know but you can choose to control your emotions and make yourself become who you are meant to be. Power of positive thought and action. It's ok to feel unhappy, depressed, angry but how you outlet those feelings is important in understanding why you feel them and how you can help yourself feel better. Good Luck and well wishes!

My happiness depends a lot on how I live life. I had to learn I can not force myself to fit in like everyone else if I want to be happy. I am just too sensitive.

I had to let go of my stressful and competitive office job and pick up the creative professions I always loved so much instead. Nowadays I have less money that I earn from a part time job, blogging and my creative work but I am much happier this way. I basically surrounded myself with everything that I love. Every book, every craft (knitting and sewing for me)...my life evolves around hobbies, family and friends. Of course one also needs friends, and mine weren't fulfilling me until I picked up Medieval Reenactment and found like minded souls there. My whole life is tailored to being beautiful and comfortable for me, even the interior of my apartment ;)
You can create the life that you need to be happy.

And if you want to apply witch science, all these little things that make you happy will grow into a powerful amount of positive energy. You may not need a therapist or any spells. :)
