Can we really dream danger before it happens?

I have read a few people who have had a dream about danger before it has even happened. Can we really dream about danger before it happens?

My reason for asking this is because I had a dream not too long ago about a friend that showed me something that concerned me. Could my friend be in danger and if so do I tell them?

Depends on how strong of a feeling you have about the dream, do you know in your gut that that is what it is if so then there is nothing wrong with telling them to at least know you did all you could do to warn them, and yes i do believe you can dream about danger before it happens.
