My friend is sick :(

I just found out last night that my friend, who is 79 yrs old, was in the hospital for 11 days. This was shortly after her room mate passed away which came as a total shock. I just spoke to her this morning and she sounds so down, groggy and dull. I am sure the medication she is on is causing some of it.

Anyhow, she is one of the most amazing and wonderful person I have met. I met her about 6 yrs ago when I moved to a new country all by myself. I ended up sitting next to her in the new office. She took me under the wings, taught me how to drive here in the US and helped me get a license. She is smart and I love spending time with her and discussing all the things in the world with her. I would definitely call her as one of my best friends even though our age difference is about 45+ yrs.

I am going to visit her this weekend. I would appreciate it if you all could keep her in your prayers and send some positive energy her way...

Thank you. I can't imagine what she is going through. She said she feels lonely in the house :(

I spoke to my friend couple of days ago and she sounded like she is getting back to normal. I couldnt meet with her but glad she is getting better. Thanks for keep her in your thoughts.

I met with my friend yesterday and she is doing better.
She is insanely independent and thinks she doesnt need anything from anyone :) Tough cookie...
