the gulf is so beautiful. Such a shame that people disrespect it by throwing trash all over Florida's beaches (can't say for Mexico, I've never been)

Hmm, upon further investigation, this petition (from 2010) was revealed to be a sham as it was backed by oil companies and the celebrities who backed the petition have disowned it.

I'm going to lock this thread, since it's old anyways; anyone wishing to discuss the Gulf of Mexico restoration should start a new thread.
