I know that Circle casting is an important part of Wicca and I do it everytime I begin a ritual. With the way I learned, I call upon the elements and their corresponding directions during the casting. Yet I have read, in several places, that the Christian Archangels can be the guardians of each direction. I haven't been able to find anymore information on this type of Circle casting. Can anyone help me?

Yes the arcangels are awesome to work with. Some people place them it different regions. I was born on Michaelmas (Sept. 29) and have a strong affinity with Michael. The basic renditions go like this:
Michael--North
Gabriel--West
Raphael--East
Uriel--South
But of course these mighty beings cannot be confined to one place or element. I think thereis another post on this somewhere here, but I can't find it right now. Other people associate them differently of course.
