Old one I could never figure out

Sorry if i'm writing this in the wrong section. I've got an old recurring dream i've had about once a year for as long as i can remember always mid-spring to early summer. I'm standing in a baseball field playing center field, pop fly comes my way so I run back to catch it but a fissure opens up behind me, i fall in and look up i'm about 30 feet down, behind me is a wall and straight ahead a foot path leading into a dense beautiful forest that almost seems to glow in moonlight (despite the fact i should be underground, and the game was in the middle of the day) it feels comfortable so i continue into the forest looking around at the scenery not daring to touch anything less i disturb its beauty. I can see an archway that i feel may be the end of the path, i'm about half a mile or so away from it and i wake up before i can reach it every time. Thanks for taking the time to read and hope people can find this dream interesting
