Childhood dream, still bothers me, why?

I had a dream when I was very young, a child... That I was riding on a schoolbus...
The bus driver started driving the in a field in the country.. And it seemed that there were other children on the bus, but I was near the front. I got confused as to why we were in a field, so I got up and walked a few steps, holding onto the seats, to steady myself, because the bus was going fast, and the field was bumpy, to ask the driver what was happening, and he looked at me, pulled out a gun, aimed at my head, and I turned and looked straight ahead, to face forward.(I dont know why I did that) but I remember he shot me in my left temple. I remember falling onto the bus floor, and not being alive. But I also remember seeing the blood drain down the slats of the isle..... And more blood kept flowing out,with no one helping. And the bus driver still drove like nothing happened. And I woke up. Does anyone have any idea what this dream means?
It didn't really frighten me while it happened, but it did stun me.
And I have it reoccurring. On occasion ...
Any help interpreting this would greatly be appreciated.

With it being reoccuring since childhood, it could be that it is a child you know and not actually yourself. This child may be reaching out to you to share a story to help find the driver who murdered them. As I'm sure you know spirits work in mysterious ways and I have dealt with similar in my dreams to help them.

With the fact that you do see you in it, it's highly possible its a vision of a past life. My advice, mediate and ask for the answer from the elements by the light of the full moon. The answer should come in another dream.
