Strange Sensations

recently over the last 3 - 4 weeks when I have been trying to fall asleep I get a tingling sensation (a tickling sort of feeling) on my left ear & cheek, aswell as the back of my head & middle of my forehead.

I have been searching for what this could mean, or how to stop it (since its very distracting and hard to sleep while it happens)

Has anyone expirenced anything similar, any suggestions on what to do about it???
(I have tried meditation, though I am not very good at it, cannot achieve any deep concentration/relaxation)

Have you had it checked medically? It sounds like it could be something neurological.

Thank you for your reply, but no, its not medical.... I've exhausted those possibilities before I had bothered posting about it.... at this point I feel its spiritual
