I think the BOS has two meanings, one is ( as we commonly use it ) Book of Shadows, and the second one ( I'm guessing ) Is Book Of Spells. Is there two meanings? ~

There can be. I used to have a BOSpells and then another book that was like a Book of Shadows, but I had a different name for it.

Re: BOS? Two Meanings?
Where a book of spells is used mostly for spells a book of shadows is used for everything, it can be a diary, a notebook, a prayerbook etc. The name book of shadows was given to it because it was a secret and thus shrouded in shadows, it was something to be shared only with other witches.

A "book of spells" is called a grimoire. A lot of witches have a Book of Shadows, which contains all of their information such as herbal properties, colors, stones, candles etc. The grimoire is a place to write down spells, rituals, baths, talisman making and the like.
