spell to spread a bit of joy

I'm having a problem at the moment with a very miserable team at work. They have no joy in their lives and it creates a very negative environment and gets me down a bit.
So, I have been working on a simple little spell to try and inject a bit of happiness into the team. A bit unorthodox perhaps, but what I want to do is transfer some positive vibes into a box of pens I have brought home. I then intend to scatter the pens throughout the workplace and see if the positivity spreads throughout the users.

To create my positivity I am going to bless a small bottle of river water and anoint my pens with it. I shall also surround them with healing crystals, probably quartz and my current favourite (for its calm inducing powers) - selenite.

My little spell will go:

"Whosoever shall use this pen to write
May their soul be infused with light
May they be still and kind and calm
And wish upon this place no harm"

Its a big ask of this spell as after the bad bonus news I've just given them, happiness is a big mountain to climb, but if this just sows the seeds of a bit of joy then it will be a good start.....

Thanks for your kind words Traum. I will certainly keep any success on the spell updated here. I'm hoping that the success of this is that it only needs to work on one or two people. Kindness breeds kindsness so hopefully if only one or two are inspired to be nice to each other, the rest may follow through naturally.

I waited until Imbolc to cast this spell because I wanted the additional boost of the renewal and regeneration energies. But as part of my celebrations last night, I enchanted my pens, left them in a little blessed water over night and took them into work today.

My morning training session (prior to my pen distribution!) was the usual negative nightmare. At 10.00, I removed every pen from the branch and hid in a cupboard, I then put all my special pens in their place.

Now maybe I'm being too quick to be optimistic, but by mid afternoon, the mood in the place was buoyant. I had staff telling me they were on top of the workload (what???), another staff member tell me they might come in on Sat unpaid to catch up and another worked through her lunch and didn't ask for overtime pay (and that never happens....). They were all smiling and laughing. Unbelievable!

So it might be some other factor, i don't want to jump to conclusions that my spell worked so quickly and so well. And whatever the cause of their joy, I'm happy. But it does look like the spell had some effect. I'll monitor over a few days and if the mood improves, I will definitely be incorporating pen enchanting into my magical timetable.
