No. Perhaps you could call out sick? Or trip one of the band members and make them break an arm. or leg.

UHm, what? Cancel an event for many people? I think that's kind of rude, wouldn't that? All those people who are anticipating the concert? The band who earns mone with it? Or the guy who rents the location? Or the people who drive all the way to the concert cause no one told them it was canceled? Nothing about this sounds nice.

I could write my own, I'm still learning though how to write my own spells.

you could try a spell to make whoever's in charge more receptive to the fact you can't do it maybe ?
and there are lots of resources on the internet with helping to write your own spells, it might be more difficult but it'll probably end up more powerful because of it

So how will canceling your part interfer with the others? What's your part? Of what are we talking about here? Can't you just play sick? Or if you suck at acting, really get sick? In school I could always induce high temperature and the like. But of course you could eat some old crap so you need to vomit a few days. That's much easier then influencing people to cancel your act. What about the one who cancels you? Maybe he would feel guilty cause he thinks you are really into it and he doesn't want to hurt you? Change yourself rather than changing others.
