Symbols in Scrying

I was scrying with a crystal ball, and saw a silver lake, but I can't think of what it could mean, any ideas?

To me a lake could represent peace, but also possibly stagnation? Not sure about the silver, but I've heard of it being associated with the Goddess/feminine elements, at least in dream interpretation.
