Freyja13, that is understandable. In the same situation, I would bury without wrapping, so everything degrades, beside a tree that I considered protective and strong. I would believe that the earth will absorb the energy, and the tree be asked to assist as an ally/guardian.

I try to avoid plastic anyway, but suppose the argument could be made for glass being able to contain better, since plastics can be permeable.

Perhaps it goes against the goal, but I might document with a picture before disposal, in case this is not an isolated incident.

Not sure if it's selenite, since I actually have a selenite egg. The pictures aren't the best, sorry! These were extremely cheap, so why leaning toward them being "generics".

I keep mine in bags mainly so they don't scratch each other, but also because I'm compulsive like that, that go into glass jars. Being near selenite is supposed to cleanse them, but it's part of the collection, so no effort made there. The tumbled stones free range in an indoor fountain.
