Re: Accidentally set myself on fire, not sure what to make o
It's not a ritual if I don't accidentally burn myself XD but really, I'm always knocking my water dish over, burning myself on candles, stumbling over my incantations or just generally being a total clutz. I hope the Gods find it endearing.... I agree with everyone here. It's probably nothing, and I...

Re: Honoring the fae?
I've always preferred making my own rituals. Which unfortunately is sometimes a lot of trial and error. So far its been a distant relationship with them because they tend to be elusive and there's no small amount of attentiveness on my part. I'd rather not get in their bad side. The hardest part for...

Re: When a Spell Doesn't Work, What's to Blame?
Spellwork is a lot of little things that basically nudge the odds in your favor. So a spell might 'work' but if the odds are leveled heavily enough against you it could still seem like the spell didn't work. That's life, for lack of a better phrase "It just wasn't meant to be." When it com...

Re: Irish pantheon
I just find it odd that a Goddess so heavily associated with war and bloodshed would call to me. I've always been a peaceful person. But I don't know, it's just a little weird to me. I've never rejected darker aspects of life, I embrace them just as well. But still I'm not a warrior. But if she is ...

Re: Irish pantheon
The pull towards the Morrigan might indicate a need to balance your lightheartedness with a bit more grounding. My auto correct function wanted to say lightheadedness. Gotta love technology. Snow That may be true. I just find it odd that a Goddess so heavily associated with war and bloodshed would ...

Re: Anyone know where to buy dried flowers?
http://www.themagickalcat.com/ is where I shop for a lot of my supplies. They have an extensive verity of dried herbs and such. I'm pretty sure I've bought dried Lilly of the valley form then but orchards might be tough to find. I'd recommend perhaps buying live ones and drying them yourself? As far...

Irish pantheon
So I've felt a pretty strong pull towards The Morrigan, which seems weird because I'm kind of a lighthearted person. Or I think I am. I'd like to learn more about Irish mythology in general becasue those are my roots, I've been having a hard time finding much out about anything other then Morrigan a...

Been lerking, guess I should say hello
Hi! I signed up a while ago but never really introduced myself or even posted. I guess I should start =) I'm 23 she/her pronouns. I like video games, comic books(reading in general), art, candles, almond milk, and cats. I've been practicing witchcraft for about 6 yearsish. I had a bit of a crisis of...

Re: Feel ridiculous...
Well you don't need any supplies really. The stuff is cool and helpful but not necessary. I mean use what you have. Go on nature walks. Meditate by candlelight. Say your prayers under the full moon. All you need is yourself.
