In saying that you lack the courage, you have taken away your power before you've even started. Our attitudes determine our courage. A person saying 'I can't do it,' can't do it - because they give away their power, a person who says 'I can do it', even if they don't know - keep their power, and are...

I went with option one. I cast the spell. Whats done is done and i sincerly hope she doesnt get hurt. I will also find a protection spell for her just incase. I am prepared to accept the karma and move on. I think this is fantastic that you thought through what your options were, and that you are p...

I do that myself (use myself as an example). :) I think if a particular coven has a set way of doing things, and you don't fit that 'set way', then it's fair for them to say that you are not part of their religion. If that happens to be BTW (a form of Wicca), or Gardnerian Wicca, then so be it. It d...

I must admit I don't think all tarot readers / psychics etc. are fakes either. I just think it's a shame that so many people are cashing in on it when they have no talent, and then you've got the serious people who actually do want to help, being devalued because of a lot of others.

I tried my best but she just wont break up with him. *nods* The question is, making someone or forcing someone to do something because you think it's right, isn't always the best course of action. So you need to be prepared for all consequences, including the repercussion that you may do more damag...

It does not matter whether you practice together or alone, you are still a witch. I don't think this is the issue though. I think the issue is whether you are still a Wiccan of that specific tradition. Wiccans and Witches are not - and never will be - the same thing. And cannot be easily interchang...

Mmm I love Sandalwood. The good thing about this, is that sandalwood has been clinically show to lower the heart-rate and act as a gentle sedative and calming scent. Therefore, it naturally grounds us, and that in turn will dispel a lot of negative energy. So you don't even need the fan, the direct ...

I think that's a good point, Celtic Druid, it seems that a lot of people have become disillusioned with what their first religion was offering them, it's not always forms of Christianity either, though there does seem to be a bit of drifting away from more rigid forms of religion, to more flexible, ...

The best site I've found for tarot, which eclipses every single other site and course I've ever stumbled across is the Aeclectic Tarot site: http://www.aeclectic.net/ Which includes reviews for almost ALL tarot and oracle decks that you can imagine. A comprehensive forum with threads devoted to the ...

I do talk to some of my plants, and while I don't use baby talk, I do tend to use endearments a fair bit. One particular tree gets an awful lot of my attention.

The only person who can answer that question with any honesty is yourself - but why you're going around telling people who aren't necessarily totemists or who naturally believe in animal spirits, is beyond me. There's no point telling friends, family, work-colleagues etc. about things like this unle...

I have no problem with people recognising strong gender binaries in their spirituality, though I do have a problem when this is presented as a "natural", ridged thing that has no room for any other way of being. If you're not doing it already, you're awfully well-suited to gender studies ...

Flower Essences

What Are Flower Essences? Put simply, flower essences, are infusions of particular types of flowers in water, that are then preserved in a solution that usually involves brandy, or sometimes types of vinegar. Flower essences work in a similar way to homeopathics, they involve a minute amount of ‘...

First, who decides what the “required lengths” are? As an example, who has a complete (or even sufficient) knowledge of the more main stream religions? Are only the priests or monks or what have you those who would be able to use the title of their chosen path? What defines the adequate amount ...
